RTS SuperMax TH400 Transmission Case

RTS now offers aftermarket TH400 and Powerglide aluminium transmission cases! They are constructed from A356-T6 heat treated aluminium through a permanent mould process which increases strength and ductility over the OEM designs. These are intended to be used in street/strip or high horsepower drag race applications. 

Features include:

  • Speedometer and governor provisions
  • Longer band anchor pins captured by oversize bosses
  • Multiple external pressure taps allow for monitoring of circuit pressures
  • Accepts all style oil pumps, including 8-bolt and vari-pitch designs
  • Heli-coiled bellhousing and oil pump threads
  • Accepts Reid or RTS aftermarket bellhousings
  • Accepts oem kickdown switch
  • Pre-machined to fit larger custom planetary gear carriers
